What do you like most about Arthur D. Little?
Similarly to our social life, consulting is a people-driven world. No analysis and conclusions without solid brains and creative personalities, no action without versatile characters conveying key messages, no successful implementation without the ability the team up and mobilise people. But even more important no personal accomplishment without the right colleagues. In 2004, I opted for ADL because of a strong culture that I perceived as unique and that relies on humanity, openness, team spirit, curiosity and entrepreneurship. I can just say that the large variety of characters I met at ADL all shared those values.

What do you consider your most pleasant or challenging project at Arthur D. Little?
Usually most interesting projects are highly confidential, especially when they address disruptive strategies and business models. Looking back, I could say that assisting customers in their first steps into unknown territories is a great experience. This implies the continuous challenge of staying on the forefront of evolution and innovation to assess the real potential of business and technology break thru's ie. extracting the structural wave from the hype. (I still remember the sparkling eyes of a CEO while we were shaping the diversification strategy for his company, clearly initiating a shift in its business model.)

What is your greatest ambition?
To see people around me and myself grow and learn everyday, both in their private lives as business wise.

Which (historical) event would you have liked to be present at? Why?
It is not so much the event in itself, than the period that surrounds it that I find interesting, when suddenly all realize that the world will/has changed and a disruption occurred. The Big Bang, the development of the first alphabets, the "age of lights", the first man in the air, the continuous discovery of what shapes us, the dish-washer and the washing-machine, deciphered our DNA, the days that we shall achieve invisibility or teleportation, .... Whenever old dogmas have been put down by daring ideas to improve our understanding and our lives.
