What do you like most about Arthur D. Little?
The pleasant working atmosphere and great colleagues are definitely a big “plus” in working at ADL. I also thoroughly enjoy the opportunity you get to provide your own input to the project, as of day one. You immediately get the chance to take on responsibility, firmly set in a culture of entrepreneurship which enables you to pursue the opportunities you seek.
What do you consider your most pleasant or challenging project at Arthur D. Little?
I really enjoyed working on a project for a major chemical company, analyzing their possibility to replace 10% of their feedstock with renewable products. Apart from the fascinating topic, this project was very interesting to work on due to the creativity we had to bring to come up with new economic as well as technological possibilities. The international character of the team (Benelux & US) made team management all the more challenging yet rewarding.
What is your greatest ambition?
Above all, I’d like to see as much as possible of the world we live in and gain new experiences every day. After all, “life is a journey, not a destination”!
Which (historical) event would you have liked to be present at? Why?
I would have loved to accompany Ernesto (“Ché”) Guevara and Alberto Grenada on their trip through Latin America. Seeing all these different countries, meeting so many different people and gaining insight in their way of life must truly be a remarkable experience, shaping your ideas, beliefs and the rest of your future life.
